Since 2018, I've been a program adviser for Embark Center for Self-Directed Education in Leesburg, Virginia, where I support young people in pursuing their own self-created learning paths within a youth-run democracy. Frequently in demand as a panelist, speaker, and expert in the fields of self-directed education, unschooling, and youth-led democratic governance, I'm a frequent guest on podcasts and has presented clinics at the Alternative Education Resource Organization Conference, the Virginia Homeschoolers Conference, and Minefaire.
I hold my Bachelor of Music degree from the Harid Conservatory of Music and her Master of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music, where I focused on writing and performing cross-curricular educational concerts and teaching music clinics for children throughout New York City. I run The Clarinet Project on YouTube and am a Mojang certified Minecraft educator.
